KN6000 Files: 20 FREE Home Pages for your KN6000 & KN6500

Home Pages 1

20 FREE custom Home Pages for KN6000 & KN6500.

The download includes a "RESET" Home Page so you can experiment with loading them all and then load the RESET file to restore your Home Page to the original settings.

If you have edited your Home Page yourself and want to keep your own edits then you should Save your Home Page before Loading these. If you've never edited your KN6000s Home Page then simply load the "RESET" file to go back to your usual Home Page.

Home Pages are included in the download for loading from Floppy Disk.

What's a "Home Page"?

HMP.jpgThe Home Page is the main screen of your KN6000, the one you see when you turn it on.

You can customise your Home Page by moving, adding and removing many different features, adding graphics and changing the title area at the top. This lets you see the status of various different functions at a glance.

Editing your Home Page allows you to see items that are appropriate to what you're currently doing, whether that be playing a Sequencer Song, Editing Sounds or playing to an audience. And adding graphics is a lot of fun too!

Home Pages are stored in HMP files.

I've set up 20 Home Pages for you to use in different scenarios, including a copy of the Default Home Page, so that you can reset back to the original Home Page at any time.

The Home Pages

Here's an idea of what is included in these Home Pages. Loading them won't affect any of your Styles or Panel Memories etc, they simply display the keyboard's current setup in a different way.

The descriptions below will be more clear when you try out the files. Give them a whirl, you can easily RESET at any time by loading the RESET file.

The "LIVE" Home Pages are intended for when you're playing to an audience. They show you which Performance Pads, Panel Memories and other features are selected, giving you great feedback and making your panel selections very accurate.

The LIVE FS file tells you your footswitch settings too and the LIVE CT file shows your four-gang foot controller settings.

HM (Home)

Files with the 'HM' code are a variation on the default Home Page but include some fun graphics and the status of Pads and Panel Memories

DT (Detail)

Files with the 'DT' code have additional details that will be useful when you are editing Sounds or setting up your Panel Memories.

Shows you functions that are useful when working with the Sequencer.

This file is useful when you are creating Panel Memories or playing back MIDI files for example.

The RESET file sets your Home Page back to the Default, which is probably what you are used to.

There are a few little surprises thrown in along the way! I hope you enjoy these new Home Pages and find them useful, let us know how you get on.
