PR604 Downloads

The software below was provided on a CD with the PR604 Digital Ensemble. There are issues with installing the software on some newer versions of Windows. You can download the software at the bottom of this page. Read more about installing the software on our sister site KN7000.co.uk

Song Manager software

1: Upload and Download Songs Simply connect the PR604 to your PC with a single USB cable to transfer song data. It's that simple.

2: Upload Pictures Use pictures that you have taken with a digital still camera and saved onto your PC to make slide shows by uploading them to the PR604

Audio Recorder software

Record and play digital audio using your PC! Record your PR604 performance as WAV (16-bit, 44.1-kHz stereo) or compress the file as Windows Media Format, or MP3, depending on how you want to use it. For example, you could send compressed files as e-mail attachments or burn CD-R discs from high quality WAV files.

*Some audio files created using other applications cannot be opened by Audio Recorder.
*Compressed digital audio data cannot be converted into WAV format or re-compressed into other formats.

The download is a zip file.

Hi everyone,

I recently purchased a KN2000 which came with a copy of the book 'Exploring the KN2000' by Lutz Deterra. I've scanned this into a PDF document which can be downloaded from the link below - enjoy!

Hi Mandragara

I also have a PX201. It's possible your keyboard has inadvertently had the sound turned off and simply needs a function reset. Hold down the Mode Set key and notice which red lights come on.

Normally under TRANSPOSE the red light und…

Re: Replace floppy drive with USB Emulator

Most of these usb emulators don't work with 720k drive interfaces as these are very different to the 1.44 ones. If your keyboard has a standard 1.44mb floppy interface then there is no reason why you can't fit a standard floppy drive or a usb interface ho…

Hi Mike,

It seems that it's an IC issue on the main voice board and likely to be unrepairable. Would you know if it's likely to ever find a replacement board? Oh, I meant to say, it's a 900 not a 902.

Thanks, Malcolm

Re: KN3500HD

Hi Robby,

I'm not familiar with the operation of the KN3500HD. Possibly you can get similar information in the KN5000 Hard Drive Manual. You will find that in the Members Area on the KN5000 page.

Best wishes,
Mike

Hi Jan,

You can manipulate some Yamaha styles that way but not all of them and you will lose some data.

Technics Styles are entirely different. Here is the relevant information:

Hello Jan,

I don't completely understand your question. Please write it a different way and Google Translate will try again. Write in your own language. I will use Google Translate here.

Make styles on the keyboard. Use the keyboard to make them.

Hi Everyone,

To let you know that we resolved this by email.

On KN920, you have to set the Expand Mode on Page 83 of the manual and then use the Load method on Page 88.

This probably applies to KN1500, KN920, KN930 and KN720.

Best wishes,

Good evening,

OK, I followed the process from page 93 (load single composer) and ask file 9.
But after step 6, when I press the "Sync & break" button, I get the message "WRONG DISK" ...

I have a KN3000. Living here in southern Spain, the sunshine can be quite bright, and it's often difficult to see the settings on the KN3000.
