Technics EW02NX Movie Production board

FREE Sounds from the Movie Production Expansion Board

The Movie Production board is a very convenient way of accessing new sounds on your keyboard. However, these sounds can be loaded into your sound Memory group if you don't own the expansion card.

We're starting this downloads series with 184 Sounds plus 2 User Kits from the Movie Production board. The 'Movie Production TM files contain these 184 sounds for loading into your KN7000, KN2600 or KN2400 in groups of 40. They load in to the Memory Sound Group. User Kits load into the Drum Kits Sound Group.

The full list of Sounds and Drum Kits is available below. You can also download a PDF file (coming soon) listing the contents. Each TM file contains one Drum Kit and there are two drum kits available on the board. These are in Files 2 and 3.

I'll provide more info and a list of sounds in due course, in the meantime, enjoy the sounds!

Right-click the file and 'Save As'

Once the new sounds are loaded into SOUND MEMORY, the Sound Memory can then be saved to SD Card for future use.

To load a single Sound, go to Page 3 on the Technics KN7000 LOAD Screen

KN2400 & KN2600 Owners

The KN7000 sounds files load into your keyboard and sound exactly the same as the expansion cards. Enjoy the free sounds!

KN6000 & KN6500 Owners

Hello Dick, Yes. When you do a normal save to your SD card whatever is in the Sound Memory will be saved with it. So just do a normal Technics save and the sounds will be saved along with your Panel Memories, Composers, Sequencer (if it has a Song in it) etc, etc. So, if you use these sounds in your Panel Memories or Styles etc, they will be recalled. If you only want to save the sounds, you have to go to Page 2 of the Save screen. Here you can deselect everything and then say "YES" for Sound Memory. This will just save the sounds in a .TM file. You can get your original sounds back by re-initialising your keyboard... and you will also get your original sounds back if you leave the keyboard switched off for one week (See Page 198 in the User Manual about how long various memories will last). Also note, if there are particular Sounds that you like, you can load one single Sound at a time into any Memory slot from Page 3 of the LOAD screen. By doing this, you can make your own Memory bank of your favourite sounds to use. Best wishes, Mike Posted on January 08, 2015 at 6:47 PM
