Hi all.

Greetings from Oz.

As you may be aware the KN5000 has an "SVideo" type port at the rear of it's chassis.

My understanding is that this port is be used to give the KN PC access to such software as Song Manager,Audio Recorder,MDBC (Keysoft App).

I already have the HD - AE5000 installed but see the PC access as giving me even more flexibilty with file/app movements and storage.

My question to the Forum is simply: What type of cable do I purchase and where can I buy it.?

My PC is a custom built ASUS-Intel Pentium 4 with 1.62 GHertz processor, 1GIG Ram 2xInternal HDD
OS Windows XP Pro SP3
SOUND CARD: Creative Sound Blaster XFi Elite Pro

I would greatly appreciate any advice you can offer.

Regards

Chris BUCKIE

Re: CONNECTING KN5000 to PC

John,

Thank-you so much for your prompt reply.I am somewhat familiar with the cable you are referring to and I am sure it is still available from Panasonic or EBay here in Oz.I will certainly check it out.

I am very keen to make a donation to this fabulous Website. I have been meaning to do so for quite some time now.

What $ figure is is considered by yourself and your colleagues (Bill and co) to be a good donation. Let me know please John and I will follow up with a payment in due course.I also plan to create a "blog" about my experiences with these wonderful keyboards which I am sure you will find interesting.

Thanks again John

Best Regards

Chris
