Here's an example of some of the great software you could choose as a Prize Draw Winner, available exclusively from Strawberry Music!

Created for the KN7000 and PR604/804, there are three exclusive titles making up the ‘On Screen Music’series.

The musical arrangements themselves have been written specifically to take advantage of the amazing range of sounds and styles that are currently available.

Written to an easy to moderate standard, these are not the usual basic tune and simplified chords; you’ll find lovely harmonies and instrumental breaks that will spice up your normal performance style.

The on-screen music is clear and easy to read and shows all of the control information as it happens!

2. Desifi nado
3. In the still of the Night

admin I should have also mentioned that most of Strawberry Music's disks can be purchased to download if people prefer. However, I prefer to own the physical disks, just like the rest of my music collection.

cheryl would like to order a manual for kn7000. not sure what shipping will be, therefore it may be less expensive for me to wait and order from amazon? Also do I need to purchase software to download sounds to an sd card on my computer I do have an sd slot.Im not so good at understanding the whole process to download sounds off the site. What type of sd card do I need to use. Thanks, Cheryl

cheryl I ordered the manual for kn7000 from blurp. Im sure this will help me understand the keyboard better. I still want to take advantage of the downloads to an sd card off the site. All I need is more hours in a day, if anyone can figure that one out, let me know. Ha, Ha, Cheryl

admin Hi Cheryl,

You'll benefit immensely from having a paper copy of the manual, I don't know how people manage without one. Both John and I have two copies so that when a page refers us somewhere else we can look it up in the other copy!

When you receive it, please leave some feedback about the quality of the reproduction for other members. I think the quality is superb but it ill be interesting to hear an independent view.

Regarding downloading of files from the site. Assuming that you have a floppy drive on your computer, start off slowly by using floppy disks. You can put 20 files on a floppy disk and it is very easy. Just copy the files that are numbered 01 to 20 onto the disk and then load on your keyboard by holding down the Disk button.

From there we can move on to the SD Card. Get it working with floppies first so that you become familiar with a few easy procedures.

Best wishes,
Mike

cheryl hello, I do not have a floppy disc on computer, I have slot for sd card, also a usb port , regular cd/dvd slot. so I need to figure out how to download sounds directly to the sd card, then to kn7000. Hope all are having a great day! Cheryl

admin Hi Cheryl,

Things to know about SD Cards:

1 - KN7000 supports 'SD Secure' cards (they must be marked as such, not anything else such as SDHC, it must say SD Secure). You can find the cards I recommend in the Shop area on the Support Us page on the top menu of the website.
2 - Use an SD Secure card up to 1Gb maximum. Smaller is fine.
3 - You must prepare your card before you use it. To do this you must format it in the KN7000 and then save a file (any file) to it using KN7000.

From there, you can make use of the KN-SDExplorer program on the following web page to put Styles on your card:

http://software.technicskn7000.com/...

Full instructions are on that website and you can download the Demo for use instantly. The Demo is fully functional as explained on the website.

Best wishes,
Mike
